- starts instantly (no fade in) with a medium foggy shot with a shower running out of the shot
- the shower turns off, there is a rustling sound as the woman gets on a towel, etc. (all not seen in the shot)
- then the woman enters the short with a towel on her head and a towel, slip, etc. on.
- the camera moves to a close up on the mirror and the woman's foggy reflection
- The woman takes a small wash cloth and wipes off the mirror and consequently the shot becomes clear
- there is a cut to a medium shot of an artist sitting at a desk (preferably tilted diagonally, like a architect's drawing easel of sorts is what I'm think of) putting down a piece of fresh paper and picking a drawing utensil (either a pastel or charcoal) before taking a deep breath and moving their charcoal (using it as an example) to the paper
- cut to the woman in the bathroom picking make-up from a box or bag and laying them out on the bathroom sink. I'm debating as to whether I just want the close up of her face as she looks down or if I want a medium shot where you can actually see her choosing the make-up. Then she starts to apply cover-up.
- cut to the artist who has now began sketching. I know with the shots of the artist I want it to move from medium shot, to close-up, to extreme close-up then rapidly pull it all back to a medium short at the end, but I'm not so sure as to what I want in between. I know I want the sketching to get faster and the artist to make mistakes and have to start over but their not as specific as with the woman. So I'm basically deciding whether it even matters what their sketching. But I want it to have an end so I guess they should actually be going for a picture. I figure maybe they can be doing maybe a fashion sketch just because it sort of straddles the line of ideals of feminine beauty and art, which I like. I'm thinking about it.
- The cuts to the woman will go cover-up, eyelash curler, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick/lipgloss, with a few mistakes where she stops and wipes some things off etc.
- second last shot is the pulled back medium shot of the artist finished their drawing
- cut to the woman, pull back slowly from the extreme close-up to close-up shot. There is a pause where the woman just looks at herself. Then she sighs, takes her hair out from where it's been held up by a towel, plugs in a hair dryer and starts to blow dry her hair
- abrupt cut to credits
- Liselle
